Is promoting women artists ONLY with a special unique quality to it, we only represent women that belong to more than one culture as we believe that those works possess exceptional richness, strength, uniqueness and authenticity.
Our emphasis is on our artists being Intimists. That is we only represent artists who work alone without assistants, who’s work has intimacy, that we can feel the person behind it, the touch and the closeness, someone’s hand, that individual touch. As communication now days is all on the phone and the Internet, we represent artists who reach out for something more personal.
Art created by women is one of the most undervalued assets currently in the world. In many cases women earn just about 5-10% of what men earn for a sold painting. This trend now started to change rapidly. We want you to be part of our unique and adventurous journey of enrichment and discovery.
We promote top emerging and mid-career women artists with a unique quality to them, we only represent women that belong to at least two cultures. The blend of cultures and creation of new aesthetics has always been and will always be the 6th gear of these unique artists, a competitive advantage they have in respect to more local or national artists for their uniqueness, higher cultural level and the very unique High Culture that they are creating.
Our artists were born into more cultures, or migrated, moved around the world and lived and absorbed more cultures some of them for decades, some for many many months stays abroad with family, friends, personal travels, conducting a nomadic lifestyle or working in Artist Residencies.
We also made a very careful selection of artists who are here to stay. That is artists who proved a consistent long and high quality commitment to the arts. Artists who long time ago successfully overcame the blocks that make most of the younger artists leave the art creation practice at their very early stages and never come back. That is after they “hit the wall” one or two times and stop creating art out of personal crises and doubt. Our artists are long past those stages every artist goes through. We only represent artists who already made Art History. Their work represents a solid and valuable investment…. Our artists are here to stay and grow even much more with time.
Currently starting as an online gallery, La Fenice Art Gallery is committed to put forth platforms in Hong Kong and other parts of Asia and propel emerging, established and promising woman artists to the forefront.
The Gallery also has a 1 to 6 months Artist in Residency Program in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Run by an international team. Our experts have more than 20 years of experience in Global Contemporary Fine Art World and Markets as well as over 9 years of experience in Asia. The gallery also provides professional consultations and services to individual and corporate entities that include management of art collections, art advisory for retail, hospitality, corporate entities, rental of the artworks for events that last from 1 day to long term rentals.
